Automobile Engine

Automobile Engines are usually gasoline-powered internal combustion engines. Engines have also been manufactured to run on diesel fuel, biodiesel?, ethanol?, and E85? (ethanol/gasoline blend).

Most often, automobile engines are piston engines. Rotary engines are also sold, such as in the Mazda RX-7?. Rocket? and jet engines? have been used in cars, though with very limited popularity due to their poor fuel economy.
