Battle Of Berlin

The Battle of Berlin was the climactic battle of World War II. With the Americans, British, and French pouring into Germany to the west, and the Soviets invading from the east, Hitler chose to stay in Berlin rather than flee to the Alps.

The Soviets launched a devastating attack through the German position on the Seelow Heights, then surrounded Berlin and fought their way into the city, street by street, in vicious urban warfare?. Hitler, in an underground bunker, married Eva Braun, then killed his dog, his bride, and himself.
