HungaryHungary is a country in eastern Europe. As part of the Austro-Hungarian Empire, it ruled large swathes of Europe. However it allied itself with Germany in World War I and World War II, and lost much of its peripheral territory. Hungarians speak a unique language which is unlike any others in the area, being neither Germanic, Romance, or Slavic, and more similar to Finnish and Estonian. |
