Liberalism

Political mindset characterized by a distrust of well established institutions that wield much influence such as large corporations, popular religions, and the military and those who support such institutions, such as conservatives. This mindset is driven by a view that disparity among individuals is unjust, this disparity is due to such institutions, and the disparity can be rectified through the weakening of such institutions mostly through government regulations. Despite the nomenclature, Liberals and Conservatives are not opposites. They just have different priorities. This allows individuals to agree with Liberals on some issues and Conservatives on others.
