Machine Gun

A machine gun is a type of gun that can fire many rounds per minute. It is fully automatic and usually fed by a belt or other automated system. Light machine guns can typically be carried by one or two soldiers and are usually air cooled. Heavy machine guns are less portable and sometimes water cooled.

30 caliber - common light machine gun. 50 caliber - "Ma Deuce" common heavy machine gun.

During World War II the Germans had an excellent machine gun.
