Nidal Malik Hasan Nidal Malik Hasan Nidal Malik Hasan is an army psychiatrist who went on a shooting rampage at Fort Hood, in Texas. He killed twelve people and wounded at least thirty-one. He was wounded and arrested by Fort Hood police, ending the attack. Hasan was born in Virginia. His parents were from a town near Jerusalem, Israel, and moved to the United States before he was born.
