Romanov

The Romanovs were a family of autocrats that ruled Russia as absolute monarchs until 1917, when the last czar, Nicholas II, was deposed. He and his entire family were killed by communists.

The Romanovs were related to Queen Victoria in England, and some carried the gene for hemophilia.
