Stuka

The Stuka was an airplane used by the Germans during World War II. It was a dive bomber, fitted with a loud siren to sound intimidating.

Stukas helped the Germans during their invasions of Poland, France, and the Soviet Union. Later in the war, they turned out to be vulnerable to ground fire due to their slow speed, and many of them were shot down.
