How to create a user account[edit]

Registration is free and enables you to edit existing pages. You can also use some other functions like changing preferences and the watchlist.

How to become an editor[edit]

If you would like advanced editing privileges (the ability to create new articles and skip CAPTCHAs), please send an email to info@encyc.org expressing interest and why you think that you would be an asset to this organization. If successful, you will be asked to make a small edit to your other wiki's user page to confirm that you are who you claim to be.

Minimum requirements[edit]

  • Account in good standing at Wikipedia or another reputable wiki for at least six months
  • Record of content creation, i.e. writing useful content for public-facing articles
  • Demonstrated emotional stability

Any or all of these requirements may be waived on a case-by-case basis by the user account committee.

Any application for editing privileges may be rejected for any reason or no reason at all. Editing privileges may be revoked at any time for any reason.
