Description

Lake Superior has a greater surface area than any other fresh water lake in the world, and it is quite deep. Its total volume is greater than the combined volume of the other four lakes. But Lake Baikal in Siberia is much deeper, and its volume is greater than all five North American Great Lakes combined.
