The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power

The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power is a fantasy fan fiction series on Amazon.

The writers appear unfamiliar with the books and so nothing in the show can be said to represent canon.

Rumors[edit]

There is a rumor that season two will feature an episode with Tom Bombadil. They are going to try to say that Tom Bombadil is Morgoth (Melkor) serving out his sentence and that Goldberry is Ongoliant. Someone said that this is a fan theory but if so, it was unknown until 2024. It is more likely something that the show writers just made up, something that has been called "fan fiction" and not very good.

Season 2[edit]

Has a Tom Bombadil character, who acts sort of like Yoda, the Jedi Master in the Empire Strikes Back. He trains Gandalf.

Arondir gets stabbed through the chest in episode 7 and is fine in episode 8.

Galadrial gets stabbed in the chest with Morgoth's crown and jumps off a cliff like Wile E. Coyote, and survives.
