Woman

(Redirected from Women)

A woman is a female human being. The plural form of the word is women.

According to the Bible, the first woman, Eve, came from Adam's rib. She was created by God to keep him company.

Women can usually be distinguished from men by their wider hips and larger breasts. They also do not grow facial hair and tend to be less hairy overall. They also have more delicate brows and facial features. Their reproductive systems are also vastly different, and they can bear children.

Throughout most of modern history women have held lesser legal status than men and were generally oppressed, subject to violence and without property rights. This has improved somewhat in the last one hundred years, particularly in developed countries.

In most cultures women have longer hair and wear makeup, jewelry, and other ornamentation more often than men.

They have XX chromosomes usually.
