Rage is a form of extreme anger. Homer Simpson once complained of being addicted to "rageahol".
Forgiveness is one way of processing anger, if it can be practiced and produced in a meaningful and lasting sustainable way. Often, justice can sometimes help produce forgiveness, or enable forgiveness to happen.
