Interpersonal conflict

From Encyc

Interpersonal conflict is when one more more human beings decide they don't like each each other and waste their efforts fighting with each other. This can take the form of subtle remarks intended to hurt the other's feelings, all the way to open physical violence.

Although generally a time-waster, it has its time and place.

The vast majority of interpersonal conflict takes place among people in the same families, schools, and workplaces.[1] Individuals who should be allies spend most of their time antagonizing each other.

Interpersonal conflicts may arise when two or more people have differences in their value systems, sometimes arising from differences in what they find most dreadful.

The reason for conflict might be reasonable or unreasonable. Some fears are rational. Some are not.
