The beautiful people

From Encyc

The beautiful people is a song performed by Marilyn Manson, and is regarded as one of his best and most original songs. Manson also wrote the lyrics; the music was by Twiggy Ramirez. It was written in 1995 and included in his live performances. It was released as a single in September, 1996, and later included on his second full-length album, Antichrist Superstar.

The lyrics begin:

And I don't want ya, and I don't need ya,
Don't bother to resist, or I'll beat ya,
It's not your fault that you're always wrong,
The weak ones are there, justify the strong,
The beautiful people, the beautiful people.

It has been translated into several languages, notably Spanish:

Y yo no te quiero y yo no te necesito,
No te molestes en resistir, o te golpearé,
No es tu culpa el estar siempre equivocado,
Los débiles están ahí para justificar a los fuertes,
La gente hermosa, la gente guapa.
