Truth changing
Truth changing is a concept that is used in historical analysis, to indicate that one empire has deliberately changed what the accepted truth of past issues is.
It is a concept that has been widely attributed to the Roman empire, especially with regards to them claiming that they had invented various things, including the Olympic Games, which, as it turned out, were actually previously created by the Ancient Greeks.
The concept has been broached on James Bond movies where media moguls had control of the truth. Modern day media moguls such as Rupert Murdoch, who owns many of the world's largest newspapers and TV channels, and makes donations to various governments around the world, are suggested to be involved in truth changing today. The single greatest danger of Wikipedia is in its ability to control truth. Secondly, Wikipedia refuses to mention that this is a danger in its own Criticism of Wikipedia article, which further highlights the problem.
Through Wikipedia's rules on NPOV and OWN, Wikipedia has been able to change truth.
