3d printer

From Encyc

3d printers are computer peripherals that follow computer readable plans to construct a three dimensional object.

The printers can build objects that cannot be built using conventional machining processes.

The printers can build products, like ghost guns, essentially identical to restricted products, like firearms, that allow individuals to evade government regulations.

types of 3d printing[edit]

Some 3d printed devices start with a container full of 3d dust, and use lasers, or other technology, to fuse some of the dust. Unfused dust can be re-used.

Some 3d printers use a feedstock, and construct the product, in layers. Feedstocks can be some variety of plastic, or metal.
