The astronomical object 944 Hidalgo, was discovered on October 31, 1920.[1] It orbit ranges from 1.94 astronomical units to 9.52 astronomical units. Its orbital period is 5010 days. Its diameter is 38 kilometres (24 mi).

It is now classed as a centaur.[1]
