Abed Hamed Mowhoush

Abed Hamed Mowhoush (-decmber 2003) was an Iraqi Major General who was an air defense commander, under Saddam Hussein.[1][2][3][4][5][6][7] Mowhoush was captured in November 2003, and died while undergoing interrogation in December 2003.
His interrogators believed that Mowhoush had knowledge about the role of Ba'ath Party leadership in the Iraqi resistance. His interrogation include participation from elements of the United States Army, the CIA, and local Iraqi mercenaries, hired by the CIA.
Chief Warrant Officer Lewis Welshofer Jr. was convicted of negligent homicide in his death.
