Arizona
Arizona is a state in the southwestern United States. The capital is Phoenix. It used to be part of Mexico. It borders California to the west, Nevada to the northwest, Utah to the north, Colorado to the northeast, Senora to the south, and New Mexico to the west. It is known as the Grand Canyon state and the Copper State because it is known for the Grand Canyon and various types of copper.

[edit | edit source]Arizona is known for its warm, arid climate. In the summer, Arizona gets really hot of up to over 100 degrees because of the desert, but in northern Arizona, it stays under 100 degrees.
