B-29 Superfortress
The B-29 Superfortress was a large, four-engine, heavy bomber used by the United States during World War II in the Pacific theater. It dropped the atomic bombs.
It could fly for very long ranges at high altitudes. It was one of the first bombers to feature a pressurized cabin. B-29s could carry conventional bombs and incendiary bombs, which created firestorms in Japanese cities.
Later it was used in the Korean War. The Soviets stole a B-29 that made an emergency landing in Siberia, and used it to reverse engineer their own version.
