Battery recycling

Battery recycling is where batteries are made to be reusable through industrial processes. They must be returned to a recycling facility in order to be processed and turned into raw materials to be reprocessed.

Many batteries are made with toxic materials like the heavy metals mercury and cadmium, and these must be disposed of in a way that does not damage the environment.
