Binary star system

In Astronomy a binary star system is a stellar system where two stars orbit one another. Binary star systems are quite common, being about as common as systems like our Solar system, which have only one star, within those stars closest to the Solar system.
It's possible for a binary system to have planets that orbit the barycenter of both stars.[1] An exoplanet roughly the size of our Planet Jupiter was found orbiting the stars in TOI 1338, a system approximately 1300 lightyears from the Solar system.

Fast forward a few decades and researchers working with data from the Transiting Exoplanet Survey Satellite (TESS) discovered the mission’s first circumbinary planet, a world orbiting two stars, as shown in this image from January 2020. The planet, called TOI 1338 b, is around 6.9 times larger than Earth, or between the sizes of Neptune and Saturn. It lies in a system 1,300 light-years away in the constellation Pictor.
