Blairmore Formation
Appearance
The Blairmore Formation is a formation of sedimentary rock that underlays much of Albert, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba.
The formation is thick.
The tar sands, in northern Alberta are part of the Blairmore Formation. Saskatchewan's extensive [[potash reserves are part of the Blairmore Formation.
