Brain

A brain is an organ in an animal that controls most behaviors. In higher vertebrates, brains can be quite large and sophisticated. They have gray matter and white matter. Neurons and glial cells are in the brain.

The blood brain barrier protects the brain, but can make it hard for medication to get in there.

Brains are protected by hard bony skulls in many animals.

Some parts of the brain include cerebrum, cerebellum, and medulla.
