Cultural imperialism

From Encyc

Cultural imperialism is the spread of cultures around the world, with more of a negative connotation than multiculturalism or diversity.

The United States is often accused of cultural imperialism because of the widespread adoption of American dress, diet, music, and media styles.

Greece during and after the reign of Alexander was well-known for "Hellenization", or the spread of Greek culture around the Mediterranean and into central Asia.
