Fictional character

A Fictional character is a person who doesn't exist in real life. He or she only exists in fiction works.

Sometimes, a real-life personage may appear as a character in a work of fiction; for example, many kings and nobles appear in William Shakespeare's plays. Sometimes such people are so different from the real-life originals that they may be regarded as fictional.
