Film

Film is an analog method of taking pictures and moving pictures, also referred to as movies.

Generally speaking, a movie may also be referenced as being "a film".

Film has been largely supplanted by digital media, but is still the standard for movie production and for some television production in India and elsewhere throughout Asia. 35mm is used for movies and 16 mm sometimes for TV.
