Fountain pen

A fountain pen is a type of pen that uses liquid ink, fed by gravity and capillary action through a nib to where it hits the paper. They need to be refilled often and they sometimes spill ink or leak onto clothing. Fountain pens were ubiquitous until the invention of the ballpoint pen. They remain in limited use by those who prefer them for some reason.
