Froot Loops

Froot Loops is a brand of breakfast cereal. As Count Chocula and Trix, it is targeted to young children.

Nutritional concerns

As with most branded breakfast cereals, one of its major ingredients is processed sugar, as opposed to food-group sugars, a carbohydrate. Independent studies tend to indicate that reliance on such cereals, as opposed to natural grain cereals such as oatmeal, increase the chance of childhood obesity and adult type II diabetes.
