Gummy bear

A gummy bear is a gummy candy that resembles a bear. They were the first gummy candy invented. Hans Riegel, Sr. of the German company Haribo made the first gummy bear in 1922. It was called Gummibärchen which means "little gummy bears". Gummy bears are probably the most popular type of gummies.

Gummy bears starred in a 1980s cartoon called "Gummy Bears".
