Hammer

A hammer is a tool used for driving in nails. Sledge hammers are used for demolition. Claw hammers are equipped with a nail puller on the back. Frame hammers are larger and heavier than regular hammers. War hammers are used for killing.

Some hammers have wooden handles but the danger with these is that they can break or the head can become loose and fly off. Other hammers have metal, fiberglass, or composite handles.
