Intelligent design

Intelligent design is a belief that the universe was created by some higher being, or god. It can range from biblical creationism, where God built the universe in six days, to more loose interpretations in which some vague entity sets some basic parameters of the universe and lets it play out from there. These theories are not very testable, mainly due to the limitations of human brains and sensory systems.
