The International Gaming Institute is a scholarly organization based in the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. It develops and encourages studies into various gambling issues. It sponsors the most prestigious and largest gathering of gambling and risk taking scholars in the triennial International Conference of Gambling and Risk Taking. The conferences are held at various casino/resorts in Las Vegas.

Scholars who have presented papers there include Edward O. Thorp, James Grosjean, Arnold Snyder, Stewart Ethier, Les Golden, Aaron Brown, and Stanford Wong.
