Jannat

From Encyc

Jannat is a 2008 Indian bollywood movie about a bookmaker who is involved in the match-fixing of cricket matches. It was inspired by the 2007 death of Pakistan's cricket coach Bob Woolmer under mysterious circumstances in the middle of the 2007 ODI World Cup, immediately after Pakistan had a shock loss to Ireland. Whilst the movie insists that it is no way suggesting that Bob Woolmer himself was involved in match-fixing, it has widely been reported that in many ways the movie was an Indian tribute to Bob Woolmer's death [1] [2] [3]

Wikipedia's version fails to mention what the movie is actually about[edit]

In Wikipedia's version of this article, they fail to mention the premise of the movie, which, in actual fact, was inspired on the death of Bob Woolmer. Wikipedia's article on Jannat barely mentions that it is about cricket, and does not say even once that it is related to the death of Bob Woolmer, in spite of that being a large reason why the movie was made.
