Jesse Owens

Jesse Owens was an American track and field Olympic athlete. He won gold medals at the 1936 Olympics in Berlin, Germany. As an African-American, he faced discrimination at home and in Germany, and his success at the Olympics helped to discredit Hitler's racial theories.
