Joseph Goebbels
Joseph Goebbels was the Nazi minister of propaganda. He helped Hitler gain power in Germany by exploiting media such as radio and film.
As the war turned against Germany in 1944, Goebbels helped to keep the populace engaged, even as Germany's cities were bombed and Allied armies pressed in from the east, west, and south. He killed himself and his family at the end of World War II.
