Karl Donitz

Karl Donitz was the Nazi admiral in charge of the Germany navy (Kriegsmarine) during World War II. For a brief period following Hitler's death near the end of the war he was the president of Germany. Following the war he was convicted of war crimes and served a ten year sentence.
