Katie Miller is an American politician. She served as Vice President Mike Pence, press secretary, during Donald Trump's first Presidency.[1] She married fellow Trump administration insider Stephen Miller.
Appointment to the Department of Government Efficiency[edit]
At a press conference on December 22, 2024, President elect Trump announced Miller would be joining the Department of Government Efficiency.[2][3] Trump wrote: ""Katie Miller will soon be joining DOGE! She has been a loyal supporter of mine for many years, and will bring her professional experience to Government Efficiency."
Like her superior, Elon Musk, Miller is a "special employee", a status that allowed her to continue to work for clients, and for the Federal Government, at the same time.[4][5] The Wall Street Journal reported she was continuing to work for P2 Public Affairs, and Apple. Following the breaking of this news Miller resigned from her Apple job.
