Kek
Kek is an internet meme that started in the gaming community and has been increasingly used by the alt-right.[1]
First observed in the MMORPG game World of Warcraft, "kek" was equivalent to "lol". Opposing factions could not understand each other and would see chat as Korean.
Later it because associated with the Egyption god Kek who had a frog head and caused chaos and disorder.
Some of the rioters at the Capitol in 2021 carried Kek flags patterned on Nazi Germany war flags.
Kek has spread as an internet meme and has been associated with a Kek religion and Kekistan.
In December 2024, Elon Musk briefly changed his X name to Kekius Maximus[2].
