Meteors in the Lyrid meteor shower seem to come from a point in the sky near the constellation Lyra

The Lyrid meteor shower is an annual meteor shower, where observers can see meteors briefly flashing across the sky, all seeming to come from near the constellation Lyra.[1]

The comet is believed to be made up of debris shed by Comet Thatcher.[1]
