Magnet
A magnet is a device that produces magnetism. Natural magnets produce it all the time, and electromagnets need an electrical current to make magnetism.
Magnets are used in electrical motors, speakers, solenoids (e.g. doorbell), as toys, to pin objects to fridges, and in musical instruments.
Permanent magnets can be made of AlNiCo (aliminum-nickel-cobalt alloy) or ceramic.
