Marianne Faithful (1946--2025) was a British singer, known for starting off with a flower-child persona, and transitioning to a much harder edged bluesy persona, as decades in the musicc industry robbed her of her innocence.[1]
Faithfull died on January 30, 2025, surrounded by her family.[2][1] The BBC reported that, during her life, her health problems, included "bulimia, breast cancer and emphysema caused by decades of smoking."
