Model

A model is an object that is used to represent another object.

Humans can have careers as models, where they are paid to represent consumers. Then, marketers pair these good looking people with products and services related to their brand. Sometimes, the model might be loosely associated with a certain brand. They are just so good looking that may want to buy from whatever company they are attached to, just because they are so good looking compared to the average person. Some models specialize in only hands or feet.

In 3d graphics, a model is a polygonal shape represented in three dimensions. Models are made either from scratch or by using primitives as a base.

In biomedical research, a model may be a computer program, tissue culture, or animal used to represent biological processes in humans.
