Moneytheism
Moneytheism is the worship of the almighty dollar, or less literally, confusion about one's goals in life to the point where one accepts the sole purpose of being is to attain wealth. In reality, money is a token, as so apty put in The Jerk when Bernadette Peters says she won't miss losing all the money, but she will miss all the stuff.
