Moon landing

From Encyc
The Lunar module of the Apollo 15 mission, the 4th successful manned landing on the moon, brought a lunar Rover, to carry the astronauts, and their equipment, over the moon's surface.

A moon landing is an expedition from Earth to the Moon that lands a spacecraft on the lunar surface. In the 1969 and the early 1970s the United States made several manned moon landings, going so far as to bring motorized vehicles to the moon and to drive them around.
