Mormonism

From Encyc

Mormonism is a religion. It is a branch of Christianity, founded on the belief that Jesus made an appearance in the New World. This is detailed in the Book of Mormon.

Early Mormons were persecuted, and many settled in Salt Lake City, Utah. Some practiced polygamy, but they gave it up when Utah was incorporated into the Union.

Mormons cultivate a clean-cut image and don't drink. They travel door to door prosyletyzing.
