Neanderthal

A Neanderthal is an extinct hominid that lived in Europe just prior to the arrival of modern humans. Some now believe that rather than being extinct, some of them might have interbred with humans and they live on to this day.

In contrast to Homo sapiens, Neanderthals were stronger and more stoutly built.
