Orionid meteor shower

The red asterisk in this diagram shows how the meteors in the Orionid meteor shower appear near the constellation of Orion.

The Orionid meteor shower is an annual meteor shower during which observers can expect to see meteors flashing across the sky, on October 20, 21, and 22, apparently coming from a point near the constellation of Orion, in the night sky.[1][2] " The meteors in the shower are believed to be debris shed by Halley's Comet.[1][2]
