Pills for perception of reality
Appearance

Pills for perception of reality is an idea popularized in the Matrix movies and used extensively online, particularly among incels and other extremist communities.[1]
Its origins are probably in the Alice in Wonderland story by Lewis Carroll, where reality is changed by the foods and drinks that Alice consumes.
Their meanings continue to evolve and sometimes are used in creative ways. Sometimes writers will say to reject pills because they are being offered by a nefarious third party, as in, "Do not allow yourself to be black pilled after this setback," which means do not become discouraged or take all the doom and gloom to heart.
